I’m Mia, a Generalist Psychologist with previous clinical training/experience as a Registered Nurse. I have had post-graduate experience in research, tertiary education (medicine), non-government organisations/not-for-profits, psychological assessment, and private practice for the past eleven years. Training in Mental Health First Aid in the Tertiary and Public settings is also something I provide.
I work with adults and near-adults, with a therapy focus on enhancing existing strengths and resilience, self-empowerment, and changing the mental, emotional, and behavioural habits that contribute to mental health challenges.

I employ appropriate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Therapy, including EMDR and EFT.
