Our Gold Coast Psychologists

All of our psychologists are well-equipped to help you if you are experiencing significant stress or mental health symptoms, still dealing with events from your past, or if you find yourself repeating the same mistakes in life over and over again. Each of our psychologists focus their practice on particular client groups and particular mental health conditions or challenges. It is likely that we have someone on our team well-suited to support you.

Clinical Psychologists

Clinical psychologists focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions. They undergo further post-graduate training and supervised practice in the area of clinical psychology. Our clinical psychologists tend to work with people experiencing more complex issues. We also provide guidance and supervision to our generalist team members to ensure that you receive high-quality service, no matter who you see. Both of our clinic directors are clinical psychologists, and Denver is in the process of completing his registrar (supervised experience) in 2023/2024.

Health Psychologistss

Health psychologists can assist you in making health behaviour changes to improve health, reduce risk, and help you adjust to or manage significant health conditions and their mental health impacts. They undergo further post-graduate training and supervised practice in the area of health psychology. Our clinic has one health psychologist (Kelly) and a health psychology registrar (Samantha – who is awaiting endorsement), with Mia also having an interest and experience in this area.

Adult Diagnostic and Cognitive Assessments

Our team has considerable experience in the diagnosis and assessment of ASD, ADHD and learning disorders in adults. A number of our clinical and general psychologists are also able to provide formal diagnostic assessments for NDIS and Centrelink. More information on our psychological assessment processes can be found on the assessment page. Our clinical psychologists provide oversight on all assessment reports ensuring that the reports are highly professional and meet the needs of the client.

Get Help and Feel Better

Every year 1 in 5 Australians face these challenges, but you don’t have to do it alone. Effective treatments are available and over our careers, we have helped hundreds of people to tackle their symptoms and move forward.

In therapy, we work specifically towards achieving relief from your symptoms and freedom from unhelpful patterns in your life. This may include working on enhancing the way you think, feel, or relate to others and helping you to change your behaviour so that it is more in line with what is important to you.

All of our practitioners at Redman Gall Psychologists  work with adults with a range of mental health issues. For more information on which of us is best suited to help you, please see our “Meet Us” profiles.
