My name is Sam, and I am a General Psychologist and a Health Psychology Registrar who offers empathetic and caring, evidence-based treatments for a range of psychological problems. I work hard with my clients to achieve their personal goals and increase their overall quality of life.
I use a range of treatments, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I am qualified to administer various psychological assessments (including formal cognitive and behavioural assessments for children and adults).
I am equipped to work with individuals with complex health issues. I also have a passion for music (with over a decade of experience in teaching piano) and love to explore the benefits that music can have in a therapeutic setting.
Finding a psychologist can be tough, and ensuring you have the right fit is incredibly important to maximising your therapeutic outcomes. My room is a judgement free zone, and I pride myself on offering a warming, respectful and multifaceted approach to improving health and wellbeing of my clients.
I see clients with stress, adjustment, depression, anxiety, grief, and loss-related issues. I also work with clients in the following areas:
